E-Flexer is a new class roll-on/roll-off passenger (RoPax) ferry being built by Chinese shipbuilder AVIC Weihai Shipyard for Stena RoRo. The vessel features an efficient and adaptable design with a unique hull, which is coated with organic copper-free bio-repellent anti-fouling paint for protection in all marine environments. Stena E-Flexer is a series of up to 11 new passenger and vehicle RoPax ferries ordered by Stena RoRo from the AVIC Weihai shipyard in China. The series is designed to have class-leading efficiency, and features a new unique hull shape developed specifically for Stena RoRo by Deltamarin. Stena E-Flexer is a series of up to 8 12 passenger and vehicle RoPax ferries ordered by Stena RoRo from the AVIC Weihai shipyard in China in April 2016. As the name suggests, they are designed to be flexible as well as efficient. Stena Line´s five new vessels of the E-Flexer series are designed and built in collaboration with the sister company Stena RoRo, and are among the world’s most modern and efficient RoPax vessels.

Stena Line has also confirmed the third E-Flexer vessel destined for the Irish Sea, STENA EMBLA, is expected to be delivered on time and will start operating on the Belfast-Liverpool route in January 2021.
